AP source: President Obama picked the caught-on-video activist judge for the Supreme Court.
As she told law students: The “Court of Appeals is where policy is made. And I know, and I know, that this is on tape, and I should never say that. Because we don’t ‘make law,’ I know. [audience laughter] Okay, I know. I know. I’m not promoting it, and I’m not advocating it. I’m, you know. [audience laughter]”
Why legislate when you can adjudicate? No muss. No fuss. And a Supreme Court decision is final. The only way to trump on is to pass a constitutional amendment.
At first glance, this pick doesn't look good. I hope Republicans in the Senate are up for a fight.
