Kansas Defends Sign Law on Adult Stores

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ The Kansas attorney general's office says state law restricting billboard signs by sexually oriented businesses is not unconstitutional.

Kansas Attorney General Stephen Six defended the law Monday in a federal court documents responding to a lawsuit filed by the Lions Den Adult Superstore over its Abilene store. The suit argued the state violates the First Amendment.

I know this might surprise some people, but I believe this law should go down in flames. Remember, anything which limits some free speech can lead to the banning of free speech you agree with. I might not like porn shops, but they are legal. If we limit how they are promoted, next time, they could go after your church's billboards.

Whether you want to admit it or not, you know I am right.
