Republican Party boss Michael Steele is vowing to end the nice-guy treatment of President Obama.
“We are going to take the President head-on. The honeymoon is over,” Steele said at today’s RNC conference.
“The Honeymoon is over. The honey money is over,” Steele repeated, but insisted that unlike liberals’ assaults on President Bush, his Republican attacks will be respectful and policy-based. “We are going to challenge those policies that we believe are wrong, and we are going to do so without apology and without a second thought.”
We can’t really remember much of a honeymoon, nevertheless, Steele went on to prove that it is indeed over.
Really? Why am I not quite buying it?
