Parkinson Expected to Make First Abortion Related Decision

Parkinson Expected to Make First Abortion Related Decision

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Gov. Mark Parkinson is expected to make his
first decision about an abortion measure this week, when he takes
up the Legislature's budget-balancing bill.

At issue is a provision that would abolish state funding for Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri.

Parkinson could veto that measure while maintaining the rest of the bill.

Let's pray that Mark allows this to become law. We should not be funding a group that sanctions murder.
