State sends three to NCAA baseball | CJOnline.com

State sends three to NCAA baseball CJOnline.com

If it wasn’t official before, it is now. College baseball is a hit in Kansas.

For the first time ever, all three of the Sunflower State’s major colleges will send teams to the NCAA baseball tournament.

The NCAA selection committee Monday rewarded Kansas State (41-16-1) for its best season by making the Wildcats the No. 2 seed at the Houston Regional. The committee also tabbed Kansas (37-22) the No. 3 seed at the Chapel Hill, N.C., site, and made Wichita State (30-25) the fourth seed at Norman, Okla.

This is really cool. Baseball is big in Kansas right now.
