An absolute power corrupts absolutely... The Democrats are in charge. They continually claim that they represent "the poor," "the working man," "the down-trodden." They feed their constituents that line while garnishing POWER for themselves. In fact, they end programs that attempt to liberate the poor from being perpetual wards of the state in order to grow government and their constituency base. Just look at what "the stimulus bill" (H.R. 1 The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) has supposedly done for "the poor."
